Ali S.

"I was referred to Alison Berglund at 6:33 physical therapy when I was having trouble with my right shoulder and arm. She listened to my complaints where my pain was and what my goal was. I have done 18 sessions with her and my arm and shoulder are 100% better than what it was when I first went to her. Alison has a heart of gold and has nothing but your best interest at heart!"

Amanda K.

"A friend recommended Alison at 6:33 PT to me for ankle/foot pain. I've been seeing Alison for 2-3 months and the progress I've made is amazing! I'm no longer in perpetual pain, and my foot and ankle are getting so much stronger/more stable. The first thing I noticed about Alison, other than how personable and compassionate she is, is how thorough she was!"

Ian G.

"As a Team USA Paraclimber and LA 2028 Paralympic Hopeful, I was very fortunate to have Alison at 6:33 guide me through a major surgery that interrupted my international competition season. From physical and mental prep ahead of the operation, to aggressive rehabilitation post-op, she met me where I was and got me back in competition shape faster than I could have imagined, and I'm climbing stronger than ever."

Neck Pain Physical Therapy FAQs

1. Do I need a doctor's referral for neck pain physical therapy?

No referral is needed. South Carolina allows direct access to physical therapy, meaning you can schedule an evaluation without seeing a doctor first. We recommend starting with a free discovery call to discuss your neck pain and determine if we're the right fit for your needs.

2. Why is 6:33 an out-of-network provider?

In order to provide the highest possible quality of care, 6:33 is not in-network with insurance companies. Since we are not tied to treating how insurance companies dictate, we are able to provide the most effective and individualized treatment plan to each patient. Additionally, we are able to see you one-on-one for a full hour, every single session. We can provide you with a superbill to submit a self-claim to your insurance company for potential reimbursement based on your individual plan.

3. What techniques do you use to treat neck pain?

We use a comprehensive approach including manual therapy, joint mobilization and manipulation, dry needling, cupping, instrumented assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM), therapeutic exercises, and postural education. All modalities are included at no additional cost. Your treatment plan is customized to address your specific needs and goals.

4. How long are physical therapy sessions?

Every session at 6:33 Physical Therapy is one-on-one with a Doctor of Physical Therapy for a full hour. You never have to worry about being passed to a technician or sharing your therapist's attention with multiple patients. This allows us to provide thorough, personalized care and help you achieve your goals in fewer visits.

5. How much does neck pain physical therapy cost?

6:33 Physical Therapy offers single visit and multiple visit package rates which vary in price. The number of recommended treatment sessions will vary based on your individual condition and goals. To provide us with a bit more information about your needs, please contact us and we will provide you with a good faith cost estimate.

6. Can you help with neck pain that radiates into my shoulders or arms?

Yes. We treat neck pain with radiating symptoms including numbness, tingling, or pain that extends into the upper back, shoulders, and arms. Our full body evaluation identifies the source of nerve involvement and creates a treatment plan to address both the neck pain and referred symptoms.
